Code of Conduct

Version: 1.0

Effective: 1 July 2026

Owner: Jodie Bricout, Chief Strategy and Commercial Officer

1. Purpose

This Code sets out the standards of conduct Adelitics expects from everyone who works for us. It is not an exhaustive list of rules. It is a statement of the values and behaviours that define how we work with clients, with each other, and with the communities and organisations we operate in.

Adelitics Pty Ltd (ACN 665 405 569) operates across water utility environments where safety, trust and professional credibility are non-negotiable. Our reputation depends on the conduct of every person who represents us.

2. Who This Applies To

This Code applies to all Adelitics employees and directors. It applies in Adelitics workplaces, at client sites, and in any situation where you are representing Adelitics or could be perceived to be doing so.

3. Core Conduct Standards

3.1 Integrity and Honesty

Be honest in everything you do. Do not misrepresent your qualifications, your work, or Adelitics' capabilities. If you make a mistake, own it and address it promptly.

3.2 Respect in the Workplace

Treat everyone - colleagues, clients, contractors and members of the public - with respect. We expect professional, courteous conduct at all times. Behaviour that demeans, intimidates or excludes others is not acceptable, regardless of intent.

3.3 Safety First

Never compromise on safety: your own, your colleagues', or others on site. Follow all site safety requirements, including those of clients such as SA Water. If you see an unsafe situation, raise it. Never proceed with work you believe is unsafe.

3.4 Confidentiality

You will have access to confidential information about Adelitics, our clients and our technology. This information must be protected. Do not share client data, Adelitics IP, or commercially sensitive information outside of what is required to do your job. This obligation continues after your employment ends.

3.5 Conflicts of Interest

A conflict of interest arises when your personal interests, financial or otherwise, could influence how you do your job. If you think you have a conflict, disclose it to your manager promptly. Do not act on a conflict without approval.

Examples include: holding a financial interest in a supplier or competitor, doing paid work for a client or competitor outside Adelitics, or making decisions that benefit a family member.

3.6 Use of Adelitics and Client Resources

Use Adelitics and client equipment, systems and resources for legitimate work purposes. Occasional personal use of phones or laptops is acceptable, but do not use client systems (such as SA Water's network or devices) for anything other than client-directed work.

3.7 Social Media and Public Comment

Adelitics welcomes employees sharing content about their work and our company on LinkedIn and other professional platforms. We are proud of what we do and employee voices are part of how we build our profile in the market.

When posting about Adelitics, our projects or our clients, please:

  • Keep it professional and accurate

  • Do not share confidential information, client data or details of projects that have not been publicly announced

  • Do not comment on commercial negotiations, pricing or internal business matters

  • Make clear when you are sharing a personal view rather than speaking on behalf of Adelitics

If you are unsure whether something is appropriate to share, check with Jodie Bricout first. Posts that could embarrass Adelitics, breach client confidentiality or misrepresent the company's position are not acceptable.

3.8 Compliance with Laws

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations. This includes work health and safety laws, privacy laws, anti-discrimination laws, and any client-specific regulatory requirements. If you are uncertain about a legal obligation in your work, raise it.

4. Gifts and Hospitality

Do not accept gifts, hospitality or other benefits from clients, suppliers or contractors that could reasonably be seen to influence your decisions. Modest hospitality (a meal, a coffee) as part of a normal business relationship is acceptable. If you are offered anything of material value, decline it and let your manager know.

Do not offer gifts or incentives to clients, suppliers or government employees.

5. Raising Concerns

If you see conduct that breaches this Code, or that you are uncomfortable with, raise it. You can speak to Mark Stephens or Jodie Bricout directly, or use the Grievance and Complaints Procedure if you prefer a more formal pathway.

Adelitics will not tolerate any retaliation against someone who raises a genuine concern in good faith.

6. Breaches

A breach of this Code may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. The seriousness of the response will be proportionate to the nature and circumstances of the breach.

7. Acknowledgement

All employees are required to sign an acknowledgement confirming they have read and understood this Code. Signed acknowledgements are retained on each employee's personnel file.

Adelitics acknowledges the Kaurna people as the Traditional Custodians of the Adelaide Plains, where much of our team is based. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.

We recognise the deep cultural significance of land and water to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and respect the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters on which our clients and partners operate.
